Custom Map Export

Publication-quality PDF and PNG map exports

Create map exports at up to 600 DPI resolution for reports, presentations, and regulatory submissions. Supports multiple page sizes (letter, A4, A3, tabloid) in landscape or portrait, with configurable title blocks, scale bars, north arrows, legends, and automatic data source citations. The export captures whatever layers, drawings, and analysis results are visible on the map.

How It Works

Activate the tool

Click the export icon in the Documentation section of the toolbar. A bounding box overlay appears on the map.

Set map extent

Drag and resize the bounding box to define the area you want to export. The aspect ratio matches your selected page orientation.

Configure elements

Set the title, subtitle, and author. Choose which elements to include: scale bar, north arrow, legend, logo, and inset map.

Choose template

Select a preset template or customize individual element positions and sizes.

Export

Click export to generate a high-resolution PDF. The tool renders the map at your chosen DPI (up to 600) with all configured elements.
